Christine Triebert is an award-winning
photographer working in fine art and landscape imagery. She is three-time
recipient of a Golden Light Award including the 2003 award for her photographs
of the Irish landscape. In recent years her work has been exhibited at
the New York Photography Show, Art Expo New York, the Provincetown Art
Museum on Cape Cod, and in numerous galleries and shows. Many of her
images have been published and sold internationally by Graphique de France
in the form of prints, posters, notecards, and calendars.
Prior to establishing
herself as a fine art photographer, Chris had a 17-year career as a
graphic designer. She served as the senior graphic designer at Boston
University from 1986-90, and after moving to Vermont, as a partner in
Triebert Ross Design whose clients included Dartmouth College, University
of Vermont, Putney School, Amherst College, and Penn State University
among many others.
Since 1977 Chris has devoted herself full-time
to fine art photography. Her background in design is evident in her
thoughtfully composed, custom-toned, timeless imagery. Many of her original
prints are held in private, public, and corporate collections including
The University of Chicago Art Museum, Fidelity Investment Corporation,
Fleet National Bank, and the estate of Robert Montgomery Scott of the
Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Working in a combination of traditional photography
and digital printmaking, Christine Triebert’s images are printed
archivally in pigmented inks on fine art, rag papers. Each print
is titled, numbered and initialed on the front; signed and dated
on the back. All printing is done by the photographer in her Vermont
studio.
